These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by TJC Auto and Tyre (Pty) Ltd (“TJC Auto and Tyre”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) to individuals or businesses (“you”, “the customer”) requesting tyre, mechanical, towing, or related services either in-person, by phone, or through our website.

By requesting or receiving services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Offered

TJC Auto and Tyre provides:

• 24/7 tyre assistance for trucks, trailers, LDVs, and passenger vehicles

• Mechanical roadside repairs including hub, brake, bearing, and air leak repairs

• Towing services for light vehicles and customer transport assistance

• Branded tyre sales and professional fitment via our Dunlop Express centres

Service availability may depend on location, weather conditions, and operational capacity at the time of request.

2. Service Areas

We operate from two branches in:

• Mookgophong (Naboomspruit)

• Makhado (Louis Trichardt)

We serve a radius of approximately 100km from each location. Services outside these areas may be offered upon request and are subject to availability and additional charges.

3. Service Requests and Response Time

We aim to respond promptly to all service calls. However, response times may vary depending on location, traffic, workload, or emergency conditions. TJC Auto and Tyre does not guarantee exact arrival times and is not liable for any delays.

4. Pricing and Payment

All service rates will be clearly communicated before work begins. Pricing may vary based on the nature of the request, distance, and time of day.
Accepted payment methods include:

• Cash

• EFT (electronic funds transfer)

• Card payments (where available)

Invoices are issued upon request. For account clients, payment terms will be outlined in a separate service agreement.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

• Provide accurate location and vehicle information

• Ensure safe and legal access to the vehicle

• Notify us if the situation changes (e.g., resolved, vehicle towed by someone else)

• Remove valuables and personal items from the vehicle before towing or service

6. Liability Disclaimer

While we take great care in providing our services, TJC Auto and Tyre is not responsible for:

• Delays due to traffic, weather, or third-party issues

• Damage caused by pre-existing mechanical faults

• Loss of personal items left in vehicles

• Damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer

Towing and roadside services are performed at the customer’s risk unless damage is caused by proven negligence on our part.

7. Cancellations and No-Shows

If a service request is cancelled after dispatch, a call-out fee may still apply. If our team arrives on-site and is unable to complete the service due to incorrect details or the customer’s unavailability, the full call-out fee may be charged.

8. Warranties

Tyres and parts sold or fitted by TJC Auto and Tyre are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable. We do not offer additional warranties beyond those provided by the product manufacturer.

9. Use of Website

Use of our website, including the contact forms and service request pages, is subject to our Privacy Policy. Misuse of the site or submission of false information may result in blocked access.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and take effect upon posting. Continued use of our services after an update implies acceptance of the revised terms.
